named like the old NHL division due to having 3 of the same cities as the old Norris division (Minneapolis, Chicago, and Detroit).

Back on topic: I'm so psyched for this game...the hatred between these two fanbases will make it a classic.

could be true, guess i never really thought about it, always assumed it was Norse as in norseman because at least much of minnesota and wisconsin is populated by descendants of the norse dunno about michigan or illinois, (pretty sure i'm Norse myself)

oh well not a big deal

Yes, it's a thing that Chris Berman coined. Based on the old hockey conference.

Re: NFC Championship: Packers @ Bears

Can't wait for this game man and definitely can't wait for local radio this week. It's going to be 'Meathead Week' this whole week, nothing but Packer jokes and insults. Going to be great.

Meanwhile, in a message from the future, we got this image from Wisconsin/Illinois Monday thru Thursday

and once the realization to how close gametime is comes about and all the insults have been slung from both sides, this arrived for Friday thru Sunday morning....

If you have any form of loved ones in Wisconsin or Illinois, please try to talk to them as much as possible cause you might not get the chance again.

Norse sounds better, and makes better sense in my mind.

And it's not the penalty ridden Packers that played in the first game at The Soldier Field, either and lost by 3 pts.

Like my son said, Cutler had a good game today. Let's see if he's consistent in a pressure cooker against the Packers D.
