There would literally be no kick returns. Kickoffs are some of the most exciting plays to the casual fan. Such a bad decision.

Qb's un the process of throwing and receivers in the process of catching the ball? Who us the NFL competition committee, those fits are inane. I might as well watch the Arena league because that's what this committee is proposing to do with the NFL.

My definition of a defenseless player - A player who is not wearing hundreds of $$ worth of protective gear.

Seriously "A QB in the act of throwing, or after change in possession." lmao I hope this means they cant attempt to make tackles either. Can you imagine the committee reviewing to see if the QB was pump faking or not.
Oh and cant forget "A receiver trying to make a tackle" ..... I have nothing to else to say. smh

Idiots.

Hits are fine now and the refs can't even call one hit the same way. If the defender cannot launch themselves, then the WR also cannot jump to catch the ball. The mid air collisions are causing the problems because the WR is moving down and the defender is moving up. You cannot judge that hit the chest every time.

Moving the kickoffs to the 35 is going to create more hits on kickoffs, not less if you also move the touch-back to the 25. Teams are not going to kick it out of the endzone and lose 5 yards. They are going to kick it high inside the 10 and make the other team return it. That will allow the coverage team to get down field and create some massive hits.

Unless an independent person is reviewing the scores, the refs will still protect their own calls.
