I personally think training camp would have done Eagles some justice.

That's the only logical reason I have to explain all of the mistakes and poor tackling.

Oh yea and the team isn't build for the redzone

Same could be said when Castillo, a linebacker in the NFL before becoming Eagles OLine coach, originally took the job in Philly as an OLine coach. Its not like he had any experience as an OLinemen prior to taking that position with Philly
Not really.

He played LBer in College back in the 70s/80s and has prety much been an O-Line Coach since he coached in College and in the Pros up until this year. So he was basically in that same position for almost 20 years and then all of a sudden you just give him the DC job? That's like me promoting my WR Coach and putting him in charge of the DBs, which would make just as much sense as moving Castillo to DC.

We can blame the technique but the technique isn't at fault for the Secondary playing so sloppy or the LBers not being in position to make plays.

Though being 27th in pass D keeps them out of the very top overall. Which is a bit strange because they're 9th in opposing passer rating. The Steelers are 13th.
No disrespect towards the 49ers defense at all. I know they're pretty good this year, but this season is only 4 games old. I meant you're not facing a team that's consistently a top tier defense like the Steelers, Ravens. The Giants and 49ers have good defenses, but they aren't the same as facing one like PIT's or BAL's (though as you point out, PIT's has seemed more mortal then before).
