Is Jhavid Best the fastest RB in the league?

Man, watching those highlights last night he DUSTED some dudes. Seriously, like 5-10 yards when they were on equal footing to begin with.

LeSean McCoy struck me the same way earlier this season.

But I believe other posters hit on it. They're agile, shifty, and have that open field burst. And these aren't small dudes anymore. These guys are some of the most built up guys on the team. They have to be, to withstand that pounding.

I played HB in high school. I don't think you can appreciate what they have to do until you play the position. It's tough. I was always fresh because I didn't start or play that much offensively, but it opened my eyes and I've have tons of respect for what these runners do.

Oh yeah, they have to block a little too. And catch balls out of the back field.

I wouldn't say they're the best ATHLETES on the team anymore, but they are the best FOOTBALL PLAYERS of the 53 guys on the roster, outside of linemen.

Straight away speed is Chris Johnson followed by Jahvid. There is no debating his speed, he is FAST!

However Jahvid wouldn't be listed in the top 15 running backs in the league. Last night was amazing, but that was his first ever 100 yard game rushing.

Looking forward to seeing more from him. And if were talking straight away speed, Best ran the fastest 40 time of his class (spiller, mccluster, tate, mcknight, matthews) He is as fast as they come, a race between him and CJ would be a dead heat more often than not.

Yeah, he's only in his what, 2nd year? But you can see he is about to explode. Had a decent rookie year (for a rookie ), now he's just 200 yards rushing and 200 yards receiving from reaching his totals in those categories from last year.

In 16 games played. He's played 5 so far.

I see an upward trend for this man. Fantasy team!!

Possibly - with Charles hurt and CJ's status unknown since he can't seem to make it out of the backfield these days, Best could be it.

DMac is pretty fast too, but maybe not quite as fast as Best.

I don't know if he's the fastest, but his combination of elusiveness and speed creates the illusion that he's faster than he is.

I like how he fits the offense so well. Great receiver out of the backfield. Just wait until we have LeShoure to compliment him.
