I really thought the Rams would be better this year.

Per Twitter, if Murray gets three more rushing yards, it will be the best single-game rushing performance in the history of the Dallas Cowboys' franchise, besting the mark of 237 set by Emmitt Smith.

Thank you, the voice of reason. No need to develop Hambone syndrome just yet.

They have had thier starting QB and HB together at full strength for a total of about 4 quarters.

Demarco Murray now has more rushing yards in a single game than any player ever to don the star on his helmet. 253 and counting.

And yet that has been the least of their problems.

So what exactly has Jones done this year? I know this is a bad Rams team and Garrett hasn't committed to the run as much as he has today, but I still don't see him producing long term. He can't stay on the field.

I also remember Miles Austin having a field day against the Chiefs in 2009 and the rest was history after that.

Murray will be the starter at least until Felix Jones is healthy. I want to see him play well in those games before we bench Jones.

Today's performance is most certainly impressive, but it's against a bad team, and I feel like there are more flashes in the pan at running back than at any other position on the field. Let's see if Murray can keep it up before we crown him.
