I think the 49ers will have a tough time winning this game. The Giants are in a really good groove right now with the string of wins they've put together. SF is just waiting for someone to stop Gore, and when that happens, I really don't have confidence in Smith winning the game for them.

I think the Giants win, but the game could easily go either way.

Anyone can beat anyone on any Sunday. But who's in more of a groove than SF other than Green Bay?

I love the new found confidence of 49ers fans. It's been a long time lol.

Yeah if the giants blitz like hell they can force smith into some tough moments. I don't really fear they're pass game. The run may gash us but I have a feeling we key the run from the get go and try to end that asap. Our secondary isn't great but I have faith they can limit alex smith to under 300.

The offense needs Hakeem and Bradshaw back. The niners defense will be stout against our run forcing Eli to do what he does and hopefully that is light up the niner secondary.

I think this comes down to Eli versus Gore.

Game basically will come down to who do you trust more, Eli or Alex?

At this point, I'd put my money on Eli right now.

I think the Giants had their wake up call against the Seahawks and they're finding ways to win when they have to.

SF is coming off a game they barely won against Washington who has no running or passing game at this point in the season.

I wouldn't be so sure. Gore rushed for a total of 148 yards in the 49ers first three games (2-1) and they were and up by 10 in the 4th and loss in OT in one of those games.

59 yards - Seattle - W
47 yards - Dallas - L (lead by 10 in the 4th and loss in OT)
42 yards - Cincinnati - W

Exactly. 49ers have won 6 in a row, Giants 3. Pretty sure the 49ers are in more of a groove.

.

Why would we have confidence in teams the past few years? They've been horrible. This 49ers team is good. Great defense, good running game, Smith playing well enough to not make mistakes and great coaching, of course we would have confidence.

Alex Smith will not throw for 300, but so far he hasn't had to. Every team has keyed on the run and the last 5 weeks, it hasn't helped. Everyone knows you gameplan to stop the 49ers rushing attack, not their passing game

Why would the Giants be so confident, other than beating the Patriots (worse defense in the NFL) you guys beat the Rams, Cards, Dolphins, Redskins, Eagles and Bills... not like you have ran through the toughest NFL teams.

Now the 49ers haven't had a tough roud either, I'm just sayin'

Don't know about the barely won part because they pretty much dominated that whole game from the beginning.
