Yeah that's definitely a rule I never knew existed.

Sounds like a BS rule to me. Hope that's changed soon because that was major PI.

Then again maybe these refs are the ones modeled in Madden 12.

Maycock made a good point though. The defenders on the wing don't know if the ball was thrown or kicked. If they're not allowed to by physical with the gunners, those guys will get down the field for coverage every time. It's a necessary rule.
