Re: NFC Divisional Weekend: New Orleans Saints @ San Francisco 49ers

Wow...what can I say about this one...

That had the be one of the best playoff finishes ever. I'm happy for the Niners and especially for Alex Smith. Before today, I didn't respect his ability to do what he did and he proved me and many others wrong with 2 amazing, clutch drives.

You can't script a better ending for the Niners. Just like '98, Davis makes the catch, getting nailed by 2 players with just seconds left in the same spot as T.O...and then the emotions just like T.O as Davis finally won a playoff game after being in San Fran for as long as he had.

Just a storybook ending, if the Niners can finish the season, it would be insane.

Sounds like Maple Leafs fans TBH with you.

Yeah, I get a kick out of dumba$$ Bobby Hebert bad mouthing Les Miles. I know he has hoards of people from Cajun Country backing him.

I thought the Saints D was pretty good until the last couple of drives.

What's up everyone? Just was on another thread here and thought I'd stop in this thread and see the conversation going.

Needless to say 90+ pages got me a little overwhelmed, just like the last 4 minutes of the game.

What a game. I didn't even play, and in the last 4 minutes of this game I got winded! lol.

Very happy to see the 49ers come out with the win.

I also think SportsCenter on ESPN should do a bit more research into why Alex Smith was wearing the work shirt, lol. Most, if not all 49ers fans know the story behind those work shirts, but if not let me or other 49ers know and we can give you the backstory.
