Yep, nice marketing move via the NFL. Ryan Clark must be pissed, first game of the year and he can't play.

Re: 2012 NFL Schedule Release Thread

Figured they'd have Broncos/Chargers Week 1.

Re: 2012 NFL Schedule Release Thread

Per PFT.com:

Quote:
We already knew that the Giants would be in a nationally televised prime time game in Week One, but it turns out they’ll be in prime time for three of the first four games of the season. They’re also on NFL Network on Thursday night, September 20, against Cam Newton and the Panthers in Week Three, and they’ll play at Philadelphia on NBC on Sunday night, September 30, in Week Four.
Here’s a detail that FOX can’t be happy about: Only one of the Giants’ first five games is on FOX.
Other details: The NFC Championship Game rematch at San Francisco is in Week Six, the playoff rematches against the Packers and Falcons are in Weeks 12 and 15, the Giants get their bye in Week 11, and they wrap up the season Week 17 at home against the Eagles.

Assuming the Colts take him number 1, Andrew Luck's first regular season game will be at Soldier Field vs. the Bears, per ProFootballWeekly.

Packers @ Seahawks on MNF on September 24th. Hopefully it'll be Matt Flynn and not Tarvaris starting against Green Bay. That should be fun.

Looks like I was wrong. I'm cool with it, although I'm gonna be listening to the 3 hours of talking about Tebow on December 9th.

Re: 2012 NFL Schedule Release Thread

Is anyone watching the show? What are they going to spend three hours on now that every teams schedule has been released?

I'm not watching so I have no idea whats going on with it.
