I'm watching Haslam's presser right now. Hey, he spent $1 BILLION to buy the team; 1-5 isn't gonna cut it. I really hope he continues to show he's serious about winning, and not just making a profit like Randy Lerner was...

I wouldn't be totally against it, but it never seems to work out when we hire someone who used to work with the organization.

And I'm not crazy about college coaches moving to the NFL anyway.

Two things. Do you guys think that if Holmgren paid the ransom for RGIII he would've been given more time. Second, do you really want Saban? He seems to thrive in an environment where he can "rule" with an iron fist. Its hard to dominate millionaires at the NFL level. Only seemed to have worked for Parcells and The Hoody.

He did pay it, it was just a gentleman's agreement between the Rams and Redskins to make a deal for RGIII.

At least, that's according to Holmgren. Personally, Richardson and Weeden is a hell of a consolation prize.
