Tragic. Regardless of why, but that being said there was some sort of "disturbance" reported and noted with the victim and two others prior to the murder.

What's also sickening is that football was once again mentioned in a negative light when this had nothing to do with football. It implies football had a hand in it. Why does this story get more publicity than the 31 other teams? This happens in every NFL city.

Perfect example that every fan base has scumbags. I wish that sports didn't cause issues like this.

You should read up on it. It had absolutely nothing to do with football other than the guy was in Jacksonville to go to the game. It happened on Saturday night/Sunday morning and was over this guy talking to a psycho's wife. Check out the picture of the guy that did it.

Then that's an awful, awful headline. Why even mention he was a Bears fan in Jax when the Bears played the Jags?!

Throwing an NFL team in the headline gets you more views. It also happened like a block from the team hotel, so the beat writers caught wind of it early.
