I thought I saw a 3 or 4 before(not necessarily you, but I double checked and didn't see him there anymore), but I think his point still stands.

I've always considered AP to be the top..however his year this year has made all of us say there is a HUUUUUGE gap. No one was saying that before this year.

Exactly.

And it's not just with RBs but with every other position as well. Just like if you were do a Top 10 QBs list, some would probably have guys like RG3 and Russell Wilson in their Top 10, even though it would be too soon to have them up there after only one year.

Richardson doesn't belong on that list.

CJ is right. All bias aside, Foster is getting quite the disrespect in this thread from too many.

Not only are the TD/yardage numbers there despite YPC going down (right side of OL) but he's basically Terrell Davis. Vision, running style etc should have him as firm #2 before the gap.

True, but I gave the slight edge to Ray Rice as #2 for what he does as far as catching the ball out of the backfield, though Foster is no slouch in that either. It's splitting hairs either way.

Foster is the best zone-runner, but I made my list based on ability. Foster's elite skills such as his vision and cutting make him a perfect fit for a zone scheme. I feel the backs I ranked above him are better all-around though. It was a close call though. This kind of thing is always so very subjective.
