Week 4: Baltimore Ravens (2-1) @ Buffalo Bills (1-2)

Coming off a disappointing road loss the Bills head back home to prepare for the defending Superbowl champion Baltimore Ravens.

Last week the Bills struggled to do much. They lost even more players on defense, including Leodis Mckelvin (CB) and Alex Carrington (DT/DE). This season is truly looking to be like another Buffalo Bills season with the top three Cornerbacks and best safety out with injuries already. The defensive line struggled to even pressure rookie QB Geno Smith last week, however that may have more to do with the Jets O-line.

On offense the Bills fans got their first glimpse of bad EJ. He either could not or did not step into throws which sailed or fell to the shins of guys like Steve Johnson and Scott Chandler. CJ Spiller is struggling mightily to get anything going as the everydown back. Fred Jackson on the other hand is making good on every opportunity he gets. The offensive line for the Bills struggled last week to do much in either the pass and run game. To be honest last week we saw the Bills team we expected to see all year. Even then we managed to be in the game at the end.

This week the Ravens come into town and the Bills will be looking to recover. The Bills front 7 will look to create pressure and get Flacco to make quick decisions to help out the depleted secondary. On the other side of the ball the Bills need to establish the running game with Fred Jackson and pepper in some CJ Spiller. With an established running game the Bills can run their uptempo offense, keep the clock running, and open up the pass for our rookie quarterback who struggled mightily last week.

I really want to say that the Bills win. It's that close. The Bills look a like a much different team this year. It will come down to the last possession, but I think the Ravens win as long as they play like they did against the Texans.

Ravens seem to be the superior team. Ray Rice's health could play a factor here, but the Ravens won with Rice out.

If not for the injuries in the Bills secondary, I'd be picking them. But with Justin Rogers as one of the starting corners, I just can't imagine them pulling it off.

Spiller has his breakout game this week because I benched him in fantasy.

Anybody want to do a write up for the Ravens? I like my threads to have write ups. Makes it worth this thread actually existing.

With the amount of injuries we have I don't see it being a fun game to watch.

I won't do a write up I'll just say this is one of those games people will expect the Ravens to win easily, but IF they do win, they will struggle to do so. They could also easily lose it, with a lot of the Defensive line being hampered by injuries and an offense that's still trying to find itself. We'll see how it plays out.
