But you're right that the offense lacks chemistry. The line hasn't been good. Staley and Iupati have been mediocre. Martin has been awful at RT and the other Martin has struggled at center.

The other big issue is lack of speed. Who scares you on this offense? There's no gamebreaker. We have a decent group of receivers but none that can stretch the defense. And Gore has never been a home-run threat running the ball. I don't think its coincidence that Kap and the offense looked better two years ago when Moss was there to open things up a bit.
Stats wise he's doing a bit better than last year but last year they were saying he took a step back so being better than last year is not a great recommendation.

No production from Davis, who had 13 TDs last year and the line has given up more sacks.

Yet Kap won two playoff games on the road last year and almost pulled off a third. Then this year he hasn't been the same playmaker.

Lot of fans blame Roman but Kap was the one who threw right at Sherman and in many games, has had similar accuracy issues, which he didn't have before.

This year they've had him stay in the pocket with more empty sets. Maybe they're trying to make him a pocket passer rather than be a playmaker. But it's not working, he's got no timing with the WRs unless they get open right away.

In any event they have to draft a QB and I don't mean a 6th or 7th rounder.

There was a time or two where he didn't talk to the media after a loss, but that's not the norm. He usually talks but is generally respectful after a loss. And when he's respectful, you'll never hear about it because it doesn't generate hits. Hell he's generally pretty decent after most wins but again you won't hear about those instances either. It's just that SF/Harbaugh brings out the chirpy side of him for obvious reasons.

Regardless, and I've said this multiple times already, I'm fine with him saying whatever he wants as long as he keeps playing like one of the best corners in the league.

You don't see Sherman getting into any trouble off the field, he's very intelligent, respectful and an all around good guy.

He trained his whole life to be the best at what he does and he has every right to talk smack on the field. Everyone knows how to shut him up, by beating him. If you can do that, great for you. If not, he can talk all the trash he wants.

When Kap burst on the scene two years ago, he was a playmaker. In the regular season last year, it seemed like they held him back. It really felt to me almost like they were saving him for the playoffs. I know he supposedly had a foot injury, but it was like Harbaugh said "stay in the pocket, don't take chances, don't get hurt." Then they unleashed him in the playoffs.

I kind of get the same feeling this year. I'll be curious to see how they use him these last four games now that we're basically in a must-win situation every week if we even want to have a chance at making the playoffs.

They better do something fast. Getting tired of watching this team struggle to score points
