Here's something to throw out for fun to add to the improbability of this win.

The winner of that 50/50 coin toss was more than likely going to the Superbowl.

Seattle had all the momentum.

Green Bay had the offensive firepower. I think they would have scored a TD as well.

Seattle fans must be delirious right now.

Yeah, right. Playoffs every year he's been there and a SB win, and you want him gone??

Overreaction Sports, personified.

So they grovel at someone else's feet instead, what's the difference?

1. This isn't even the best Seattle defense of the last two years, let alone up to the par of 1985 Chicago or 2000 Baltimore.

2. Green Bay has a good offense, right? If this were Oakland Raiders' offense vs. Seattle's defense, you might have a point about matchups altering the stats. Literally short of those kinds of extremes, going for it would be the right decision.

If you want a microcosm of the game, Carroll going for it on 4th and getting 7 points versus McCarthy deciding to settle for two short FGs is probably it.

FWIW, Green Bay still should have won regardless. Just a massive choke on so many fronts.

#Shieldball lost Green Bay the game. But will NFL coaches change? LOLNOPE. They are way too stubborn to admit something they do is wrong.

I don't know about the Pats beating Seattle.

Brady didn't look that great for a large stretch against the Ravens, which doesn't have the secondary that Seattle does.

Gronk would have to go crazy.
