I personally don't see one, but was curious what the feeling is amongst Broncos fans.

If it were up to me Brock would start but you're right, short of injury there isn't a scenario short of injury that Manning comes out.

They'll let him see it through.

Jerod Mayo placed on season ending IR today. No big loss, but likely the end of a solid Patriots career.

They got through one game with Manning so I'm not sure there's a chance Brock comes in. If Manning is so bad that they consider or do yank him, I'd guess NE will be up big. They'd probably let Manning play out the game as a last hurrah.

If Manning throws 3-4 picks in the 1st half and somehow the game isn't out of hand, I think Brock gets the call in the 2nd half.

I think this is Peyton's game to lose (and I don't mean that in the sense that I think the Broncos should win). Assuming this is his last year I just think they will let him ride off into the sunset or out into the sunset.

This may not make sense but I don't agree with it for football purposes but I don't necessarily disagree with it.

Enjoy this Sunday though, I think it's highly likely this is the last time we will see two of the greatest quarterbacks of the modern era go up against each other.

I'm as big a Peyton fan as anybody, and I don't really care about the Broncos one way or another, but now isn't the time for sentiment. Play to win the game, and if it reaches a point where Kubiak feels like Osweiler gives him the best chance, I don't see why he wouldn't go to the bullpen.

Damn, I agree with both of you. I would hope if Manning were having a horrible game, he'd make the decision himself to sit.

I don't either, as a fan of the Bronoco's I'd prefer they go with the best route to win but being realistic I just don expect that to happen.

Brock can run the offense Kubiak want's to run, if they wanted the best QB to win he would have been in Sunday against the Steelers. Manning had some of the best field position he's gotten throughout his career and converted them into a bunch of field goals.

That field position they got was never something Manning squandered in the past.

This season is Manning's to lose and as a fan of the Broncos I hate it, but I don't see them as having another choice. He's a first ballot HOF quarterback.

That will come this offseason when he says he wants to play another year and they have to tell him it won't be in Denver.

They went all in this year on their defense for a reason.
