Re: 2018 NFL Draft Thread

I think we're going to see a fair amount of trades in the top half of the round. Possibly as high as the Giants and Broncos.

For the Jets, I want Mayfield or Rosen. Really hoping Darnold is taken in the first two picks, I think he'll be a bust and I want another team to save the Jets from taking him. I'm sure if he's there at three Mac will take him.

Re: 2018 NFL Draft Thread

Looking forward to tonight. Happy with anyone (in varying degrees) besides Allen.

Re: 2018 NFL Draft Thread

I don't know who I want the Patriots to get in Round 1. But I want them to use both picks one on a LB/Edge (Rashaan Evans maybe) and another at LT. I know we went tackle last year but I don't think Anthony Garcia is the long term guy there.

I can say I don't want Lamar Jackson. I was not impressed with him at the combine at all and I also question his decision making a little bit. The main reason being not doing the athletic drills at all during the evaluation stage and hiring his mother as his agent. I feel if he had an actual agency behind him, not doing the athletic drills during the evaluation process wouldn't be that big of a deal and his agent would've found some excuse as to why he didn't do them.

I want to ignore all their immediate needs in the first round by drafting Lamar Jackson, then following that up by trading Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski for more draft picks.

My biggest draft day wish is for Dallas to get Earl Thomas.

Re: 2018 NFL Draft Thread

So I read there's a growing though that Mayfield will get drafted by the Browns.

Great, my favorite talent in the draft will see his career go down the toilet.

Yeah poor Baker Mayfield spending a year behind Tyrod Taylor and having weapons like Josh Gordon, Jarvis Landry, David Njoku, and Duke Johnson at his disposal.

The Browns have been awful forever but there is talent there, they have never had a QB, if Mayfield is the player you think he is no way he doesn't find success with that group.

I still say its Darnold but any QB would be happy with those weapons.
