Thought they might actually be moving in the right direction and getting somewhere...and then they do this. After the Knicks got stuck with the #3 pick the Jets just had to pile on to the disappointment for fans with typical Jets moves the next day.

So I guess Gase won that war....

Normally I laugh at everything associated with the Jets because they're rivals but this is Mickey Mouse stuff right here. Gase is going to run that team into the ground and it'll take a Parcells like miracle to bring them back to any prominence again.

And now anyone who is a Knicks and Jets fans has now experienced twice seeing their team fire the gm days after letting them run the entire draft.

Adam Gase got the GM fired, alienated the team's best offensive player, became the only coach with a GM title, brought the circus back to town, and traded a starting LB for peanuts all within 10 hours.

Gase is never going to get a job in the NFL again once this debacle is over.

The trade since it wasn't posted, was LB Darron Lee, sent to the Chiefs for a 6th.

While it was perfectly reasonable for Gase to oppose paying a big contract to a RB...

...those discussions/opinions never should have been made public.
