I couldn’t have been the only one with a creeping sense that the Pats were gonna get back to owning us after the game the other week. Taking this one and not letting go was deeply satisfying. Suddenly, us and the Pats have reversed roles after that game; they’re on the edge and we’re back in the driver’s seat for the East with the Falcons and Jets at home to close out the year. We needed to prove we can beat them as a division rival and as a solid AFC contender. 33 on their defense is nothing to sneeze at! You have to make them play from behind.

They say record in one score games doesn’t translate out to being something you can measure as being strong or weak at (it’s random), but there is regression to the mean so I’m hoping we regress to some wins in those contests. Although I’d be happy with multi-score wins from here on out!

Hoping we have flipped the switch like the Chiefs did weeks back and are ready for a deep run in the playoffs. But man, that AFC playoff bracket is just tough across the board. I have no clue how it shakes out.

Miami has miraculously climbed to the final WC spot in the AFC. Totally nuts.

They may be division rivals, but having 1 win through half the season and now being in the playoffs with 2 games remaining is the upside down chaos mind buster energy I crave. Even better if they knock off / out the Pats in Week 18!

I forgot who I was talking to earlier in the season. But if they figured out their offense. They could be a good team with their defense. But wonder how they will finish.
