Looks like Niitty will start tonight against the Rangers and Biron will be back in net for Saturday's game vs the Ducks.

Well, that wasn't pretty. Niity was shiity and the guys in front were not much better. I looked up Niittymaki and it's Finnish for "pitchback"!

I kind of agree. I hope we hit a bit of a dry spell and then are firing on all cylinders when the playoffs roll around. It seems like the last couple of seasons at the end of the year we're so beat up and fatigued that we get bounced first round. I want to go into the postseason with some momentum.

I know what you guys mean, but I don't like subscribing to that thinking. I'd rather they continue a torrid surge with an unlucky loss here and there a la the DRW. But if a wake up call is needed, then it's needed.

That was a BS review non-call. Would've made it a 4-4 overtime had they given us our rightful goal.

Agreed. But it's a shame that they basically sleep-walked through the first two periods before waking up and trying to rally. I read in the Philly papers online that the flu is working it's way through the team.
