Re: Your fondest NHL memories

Easy.

2003 Wild playoff run. I had just turned 21, two game seven wins on the road after being down 3-1 (Nucks and Avs). Taking over the Reef Bar with about 50 other people that were only there to watch the game. Good times.

And early on it would have to be watching Wings games on the old Fox Sports Net Detroit channel with my dad when I was a kid. I will always have a special place in my heart for Stevie Y.

Re: Your fondest NHL memories

Right off the top of my head I think of the Brett Hull "skate in the crease" goal and Ray Bourque's first cup with the Avs. For the first one, I remember being at a wedding (I was still pretty young at the time) sitting at the bar in the lobby, drinking a shirley temple and watching the game on a small TV with my brother. Such a great memory!

As for the second one, I am a die hard Joe Sakic fan and at the time I was a diehard Avs fan, and just watching number 77 with that grey beard lifting the cup was very emotional. It was satisfying!

Also, the Habs' crazy run in 93 (with all those damn OT wins) was a great memory.

Re: Your fondest NHL memories

The Canes first going to the Stanley Cup Finals in 2002, even though they were destroyed by the Red Wings. Irbe was awesome in the goal.

The Canes winning the Cup in 2006, coming back from 3-0 deficit to score with 30 seconds left to win 5-4 in Game 1.

Rod Brind amour lifting the cup.

And finally.....this epic fail below.
