Unless this franchise was going to be sold for dirt cheap I don't know why anybody would want to buy the team unless there was an out clause. It's mind boggling that nothing has been resolved yet. This is another stain on Bettman's record.

Winnipeg, Quebec, Hamilton, make your pick. The Coyotes tried, failed to get a big enough fanbase, time to move on. NHL expansion worked in San Jose, Carolina, Tampa Bay, Dallas, and Nashville (they get a bad rep, their attendance isn't THAT bad and they've been a playoff team). So get rid of the failures which are Atlanta, Phoenix, Florida (lack of success hurt them, their attendance was great during the mid 90s with the Cup run, so maybe give them a chance until they're good).
