UMD with another sweep against a bad team. Western Michigan this time, who has all of 4 wins this year. UMD has won these 4 games 24-2 combined.

Meanwhile Miami gets swept by CC. Time to re-evaluate your existence, Miami.

Omaha rebounded from last night with a 7-2 win against St. Cloud, minus Ortega and with Guentzel limited. Good road split against a good team.

Nice to see the Gophers sweep Ohio State. Seems like they were a little more dialed in this weekend, although there are still some bad lapses, at times. Hopefully they're starting to figure it out. A couple of the freshman appear to be getting more comfortable.

What's the deal with Avery Peterson?

What about him? I didn't get to watch last night because I was out with some friends. Just followed posts on twitter and the scoring updates from the CHN app.

He's got 0 points in like 13 games.

Yeah, he really hasn't lived up to expectations so far. His freshman year he skated on the 2nd line and was part of the power play for about the first half of the season. He got demoted to the third and has stayed there. Guy's got all the physical tools, but he hasn't been very effective passing or shooting.
