The Official NHL 2015-2016 Stanley Cup Playoffs Thread

I am going to be sick if the Blackhawks win again. I will be pulling for some combo of PHI/SJ/ANA plus whoever is playing against Chicago and Pittsburgh.

Personally, I hate this contrived playoff system.

We could have these matchups:

WSH/DET, PIT/PHI, FLA/TB, NYR/NYI

DAL/MN, STL/NSH, CHI/SJ, ANA/LA

Divisional playoffs are just dull. They just don't pop for me. I still watch but I preferred the older system.

For everyone worrying the Blackhawks are going to win again, unfortunately(for me) I don't see that happening. The defense has been noticeably worse this year and the trades haven't really worked out to this point. They do have a tendency to flip the switch in the playoffs (usually once their backs are against the wall), but I don't see that happening this year.

Wasn't feeling too good about Tampa's chance but it sounds like Hedman, Cally, and Kucherov are all good to go. Tyler Johnson is day to day. Maybe they can survive long enough for Stralman and Stamkos to return idk

Really want to see a TB/FL playoff match up tho

Yeah but he had surgery on the 4th, so if he's on the lower side of the recovery he could return if they go on a little run. Obv with a blood clot tho I wouldn't want him to return until he's ready

Tier 3 (Keep Tier 4 from winning, PLEASE!)

Tier 4 (would hate it if they win it)
