Apparently when Rinne shook Jonathan Bernier's hand after the Ducks series, he absorbed Bernier's sieve-tacular stink. Wear gloves next time, Pekka!

Eh. They'll split in Tennessee, Preds will win Game 5 to get everybody's hopes up, Pens will roll them in Game 6. That's usually how these things go.

I wanted to see PK win a cup, guess it won't happen.

My Pens in 5 pick is looking good right now.

Going to Nashville tomorrow. Think I'll wear some Pens gear. This should be fun.

Edit: This is far from over. Pens need to get one of the next two in Nashville.

Matt Murray doesn't start either the 2016 or 2017 playoffs as the #1 goalie, will win the Cup as the starter both years, while still eligible as a rookie. The double Cam Ward!

Other than Jacques Plante, I don't think any other goalie had been a rookie in multiple cup finals(and even then, Plante only won once as a rookie).

So Murray will at least be only rookie goalie with two cups. Surprisingly, there have been a fair amount of skaters who won multiple cups as a rookie. I believe most recently might've been Jim Paek of the Pens.

Re: 2017 Stanley Cup Final: Pittsburgh Penguins vs Nashville Predators

The phenomenon of OS having a funeral for a team that's still very alive continues.

I think Nashville evens this up with 2 wins at home. After that... who knows.

They've played pretty good. Goalie has gone cold for moments and they've had lapses and got burned. The Pens have feasted when given the chance. If Rinne gets his head out of his *** and the Preds don't let one bad goal turn in to three, I don't see why they can't get right back in this.
