Glad that Huntellar might have a shot to play top flight football, he is a very good goalscorer.

34 goals in 39 games in the Dutch League

I really hope he lets him play. Don't just keep him, sit him on the bench, and then sell him. I'm on the Campbell bandwagon. I really want him to make it at United.

Edit: I actually think going on loan to Hull for a year in the PL would actually do him a lot of good. I think he would be better prepared for when he comes back to United.

Edit 2: But then again, playing and training with guys like Rooney, Tevez, Scholes, Giggs, etc. would probably be more beneficial.

Bah! I don't know. In Fergie We Trust.

Re: The Transfer Thread

9.00 Good morning and welcome to Sky Sports' transfer clockwatch. The two major transfer sagas of the summer - Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Barry - continue to dominate the headlines and there could be further developments today, so stay tuned. Plus, we will bring you news of all the latest deals, talks and speculation.

9.45 Chelsea striker Didier Drogba is poised to commit his future to the Stamford Bridge club by signing a new four-year deal, according to reports in the Sunday Mirror.

10.02 Former Manchester United forward Diego Forlan has been linked with an £18million move to Tottenham by The People. Would the Uruguay international be able to make more of an impact second time around in the Premier League?

10.25 Further speculation in the Sunday papers suggests that Everton boss David Moyes is considering a £3million move for Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher.

10.25 Liverpool's summer-long pursuit of Gareth Barry could still be scuppered with Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger said to be weighing up a late move for the Aston Villa midfielder, according to reports in the Sunday Express.

Re: The Transfer Thread

10.49 A further, possibly fanciful, piece of tabloid talk suggests Arsenal want £10million from Newcastle in exchange for defender Philippe Senderos. Or £7million plus Shay Given. From where I'm sat, that looks like a bad deal for the Magpies either way.

11.35 West Ham have moved to quell suggestions that they could be prepared to sell striker Dean Ashton to a Premier League rival for £18million.

11.59 Deportivo La Coruna defender Fabricio Coloccini, who is poised to complete a move to Newcastle, has promised to be a 'big hit' in the Premier League.

12.25 Tottenham target Roman Pavlyuchenko has apparently ruled out a move to White Hart Lane, as he would prefer to play for Arsenal or Chelsea. Ouch.

12.53 Ruud van Nistelrooy does not expect to be playing alongside Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid next season, and has admitted that the ongoing saga has gone too far. There are probably quite a few people who share those sentiments.
