My point was just that it would be interesting to see a club like that make that kind of splash to say, "we're not ready to go away".

Looks like Newcastle will make Christian Atsu their 12th summer signing tomorrow. On a season-long loan with an option to buy. Also a surprise 4.5m move for West Brom's Callum McManaman could be in the works before Wednesdays transfer deadline to make him our 13th signing!

Still no word on Sissoko. He hasn't played this year in 6 games. We are holding out for 35m pounds. He has been rumored to be going to a number of clubs this year including Madrid, Arsenal, PSG, Juventus, Man Utd and Dortmund.
