At this rate, Arsenal have to be an early favorite to win the inaugural Europa League in the spring of 2010... if Cesc, RVP, Adebayor, Clichy & anyone else of quality don't leave first.

So at least Villa drew thanks to a crazy Stoke comeback. BUT, if Arsenal had won the last two games ("winnable" games at that) they could've picked up five points on the Villains...

I think I hurt my throat due to yelling so loud when Nasri didn't pull the trigger in his, what, four consecutive chances to shoot?

It's a miracle, they can score in the league! A 3-1 defeat of West Brom today -- Bendtner with the brace and Toure the other. Now we need City to knock off Villa tomorrow...

Re: ***The Official Arsenal "Gunners" Thread***

Finally the scoreless drought is over! Thanks in large part to the absolute amateurish marking of WBA. They were making Bendtner look like Lionel Messi.

It seems to me that Arsenal plays their best football when Clichy or Sagna aren't bombing forward every time. When they go forward we become way too dependent on playing the width of the field. Which is just not working right now. Today they played a lot more in the center of the pitch and were much more effective.

Top 3 Peformances

1. Nicklas Bendtner- Two goals, one of which was a superbly struck goal. Very active. Just needs to show consistency before I get too excited about this performance.

2. Andre Arshavin- Had numerous strikes on goal. Extremely unlucky not to get his first goal with the Gunners. Also had a wonderful service that led to Kolo Toure's set piece header.

3. Kolo Toure- Only played a half but had a goal and the assist on Bendtners second goal. Also played pretty solidly in the back. Came off at halftime for precautionary measures as he felt tightness in his calf.

Eduardo could be available against Burnley this weekend according to Wenger.

Gallas should be available as well. With Ade being a possibility but its not likely he will see action.

Walcott and Eduardo will definitely be in the squad Sunday. But it will be a game time decision whether or not they will be in the Starting XI.

Also it looks as though Man City are now looking at Arsene to be the new Coach at the Eastlands, next year.

I give that happening, about as much of chance as us landing Lionel Messi this Summer.
