I think 2k should put out a survey just to see what the majority of the consumers want. However most of the experience would be exceptional if 2k invested more into their servers.

I got the impression that EA had to adjust and create new animations to match the speed of the players from next gen stats. Its EA so this is no guarantee that the animations will look more realistic.
