I think shoulder width is just for looks, it's weird though, why are you able to define shoulder width but not arms or legs?

I think in 2K16 you had to do this in the settings before you started MyCareer, then it was taken over as default quarter length.

I think you got it wrong, it's about whether or not you can actually get more VC out of the legend edition plus buying VC for 20€ instead of buying the legend gold edition.
