You have to select "yes" to the initial MUT ad that pops up after the game loads initially. It then gives you the option in the upper right corner to hit the R stick and then you can choose music.

Exactly. You will still have high walk games, but depending on who's pitching it varies. Default is just too many early balls from everyone. I recommend trying 6. Its a good experience.
