A good or bad season can effect it, playing time, injuries, and trainer level too. There may be other factors as well but I know these all weigh heavy on it

No I mean like I have a separate MyLeague I’m using as a G League and in tests I’ve seen players grow that way. They don’t get too much better OVR but many of them do gain badges.

Players do earn badges in their career. I set up a G League for my younger players and I’ve seen on average 2-3 badges added for most players. Some standouts will even gain 10+ badges

I can deal with it knowing it’s only when they’re hot and not all game. It can become crucial but depending on when they get hot may or may not play a big part of the game.
