Did so and it did nothing lol. It's the spinning around and chasing that they do instead of back skating. They are super slow at spinning around, and by that time, they're stuck chasing a breakaway....

So I've tried a few games, and it's okay so far. Bumping the cross crease goalie reaction up to 75 and goalie save reaction up to 60 definitely helps too. But there's still WAY too many breakaways...

Ahhh yes I've heard the sliders revert back. I thought maybe they fixed that by now. That could be it.

Edit: that was indeed the problem. Why haven't they bothered to fix that??

How about the AI actually calling up players of correct position due to injuries instead of slotting in a d-man at forward or forward on defense. Only time they make a call-up is if there's too many...

For NHL 23, I got a PERFECT slider set for CPUvsCPU in Franchise. Just got through a whole season with the Leafs, and scores were super realistic (for the most part). Stats for my team were a BIT too...

Let us check box scores in the calender of previous games we've played, and other games. Like other sports games.

Have a ticker. Like most other sports games.

NHL 2004 for me. Even on an emulator, just watching CPU vs CPU is fun and pretty realistic. The only knock is the fights. Too many non-fighters drop the gloves, bringing the realism down just a bit.
