That's true. But some would argue that if EA created a product where the impressions should correctly outweigh the arguments, then that's what would happen.

Agree completely. But the problem is, we're not going to get one. Why should we? And why should they build one? Sad reality is that they have no competition, a strong base that plays competitive...

Strat was always my favorite. Hockey is a hard game to capture on a board, and I thought Strat Super Advanced did a good job. Line changes are annoying though.

For the past couple years I've flipped between slap shot accuracy and slap shot power. I always had the power high. That way, the cruddy shooters still missed the net but the good ones scored based...

Always love your sliders. Haven't had a chance to try these yet. Do you see the occasional wrist shot untested goal, as well as the slapper from the blue line?

In Franchise, I hit R3 which takes me to the Franchise Overview. Whenever I try to "go to set prices" from that view I freeze. Tried it 5 times, froze every time.

Gotta admit that EA's got me this year. Yes gameplay is iffy, and AI is still shotty at times, and I'd LOVE to see that improved. But the bottom line is, a LOT of offline GM complaints that I've had...

46 years old. Started playing hockey on my Intellivision. That's right. :) Moved from that to WGH2 for the PC, which I still think highly of, especially with the Hockey League Simulator disk....
