Correct, you upload to NBA2K.com/upload, then wait until your items pop up on the Community Uploads tab under "Latest" instead of "Popular."

Found the workaround!

You have to upload to the site. Then wait until your upload hits the "Latest" Community Uploads. Then you can then Bookmark yourself as a favorite. Once you have Bookmarked...
