That is a fair point.

But this stopped being just a game a long time ago. Ultimately probably not what you were trying to say, but I just can't let statements like that pass me by.

The NFL stopped being a game a LONG time ago. Its the best drama on tv, must see television. And unlike can't miss movies, or programming, there is personal involvement with local/childhood teams,...

I respect the opinion of those who jump online, and enjoy the game because they want to play against their buddies, or enjoy the competition aspect. The game is fine for them, and I won't judge them....
