Who is the most hated team in US sports?

Didn't know where else to put this, so apologies to the mods if it is in the wrong place.

It seems the most hated teams also win the most, generally. Who is the king? The Yankees victory has reminded me just how much people hate them, not that I needed reminding, but dudes are upset, lol.

Off the cuff, these teams seem to top the list.

Please vote for the team you hate the most, not the team you think is the most hated.

For me it's the Cowboys. I know the Phillies just lost to the Yankees, but otherwise the only time the Yankees upset me is during the winter meetings when free agency heats up. My team doesn't face them in any significant capacity on a REGULAR basis.

However, the Eagles/Cowboys are one of the more heated rivalries in sports, and thanks to OS and the wonderful Cowboys fans here, I've developed a new-found HATE for the Cowboys.

Whereas it use to be I love to see Dallas lose. It's now I love to see Dallas lose so that ODogg, Freelance, WellWell, elgreazy, Andromada, and perhaps a few others suffer through disappointment.

For me it's the Yankee's because they have an additional advantage that those other hated teams who play in salary capped sports do not.

Every year my hope is that the A's win...after that it's that the Yankee's lose. My favorite team has always been the A's and #2 is who ever is playing the Yankee's..same with B-ball. Kings win...and then Lakers lose.

I've never viewed the Pat's in the same light. Besides the cheating incident, I've always regarded them as a "team" maybe more-so than any other team and I've always respected the "team-first" attitute they portray.

As much as I hate the Yank's, I wouldn't mind seeing them win 10 in a row..maybe then things will change in MLB.

The Cleveland Browns have just as much a chance to sign Adrian Peterson (if he was a free agent), but is he going to go there or is he going to go to say Dallas or New England?

Nobody wants to play on the Cavs if there's no Lebron, and IF Lebron goes they'll be sorry as hell again. The deal Tex got wasn't that much bigger dollars and cents wise than Washington's or Baltimore's offer, but Tex choose to play in NY over smaller-baseball cities w/ little to no tradition.

THAT has nothing to do w/ how big an owners wallet is, and until you all actually know how big the owners wallet is and how much they value their bottom line profit for their larger businesses to spening bocoo dollars on their franchise than I think your hate is rather misplaced.

I saw something on Forbes where the Minny Twins owner was one of the more wealthy owners in baseball. However, they're known to be "small" market, and refused to pay Johan getting next to nothing in return. Why is that if this owner is so wealthy?

I suspect the answer is the Yankees, because they are the biggest, oldest, most successful empire in all of sports. For me, the Cowboys are the only team that I hate outright. I hate that they are called "America's Team" and get so much coverage for relatively little success. There are other teams that I dislike, but could root for under the right circumstances.

There is no amount of hardship that can thaw my heart to America's Team, though.
