Call me crazy, but I've been team XB1 for a couple months now. But as we were getting closer to the 15th, I found myself chomping at the bit for some 2K14 Next Gen. I ended up selling my 360 in 5 min yesterday after putting up an FB status. Once I got the cash in hand, I figured "Hell, I can take this plus the money I have on my XB1, and get a PS4 for $100 less." Now, I'm gonna stand in line for 5 or 6 hours tomorrow evening to get my hands on one of Gamestop's extra consoles. Did timing of release motivate any of you guys to switch? Did you find yourself justifying it in every way you can (like me, lol)? Does anyone feel like there'll be a distinct advantage either system will have as it relates to 2K14? I know one thing, "I CAN'T WAIT" to join you Sony guys tomorrow night/Friday morning!

Man you did all that just to get a shot at playing 2k14 early?? I would have kept my guaranted Xbox but I hope you get one I know its going to be crazy at GameStop tomorrow night.

I can relate, lol. I actually pre ordered both the Xbox one and the ps4, my plan was to sell the ps4 and keep the Xbox one for myself. But over the last couple weeks ive been reading and comparing both consoles. And the fact that the ps4 is 100 less and comes out a week earlier definitely has me leaning towards Keeping the ps4 and selling the XB1 or even canceling my xb1 pre order all together. That one week makes a difference when your a impatient basketball fanatic like me.

Well, I still have my pre-order on the XB1. I'll only cancel it if I show up and Gamestop and it's clear that I'll get my hands on a PS4. So I'm still good if the plan falls through.

Hahahaha. I actually considered tryin to get a ps4 cuz i cant wait til the 22nd for 2k. But in the long run id be disappointed. Lookin forward to snappin tv n watchin hoop while playin hoop. And the 1 tb external hard drive i am gettin will be put to use for x1. Cant do either on ps4. Will be gettin ps4 tho when the show releases.

Another idea. Buy a ps4. Play it for 6 days. Return it. Trade in 2k. Then jus buy x1 like originally planned. Ull take a $30 loss prolly, havin to trade 2k in. Just an idea :-)
