Can someone please explain to me that after all these years, there is still not even a little logic in the game where the CPU QB's have enough awareness to throw the ball away instead of just standing there and taking sacks?

After YEARS, it still happens. It's actually worse this year because they will inch backwards, and inch back, and inch back, and then take the sack.

It's so bad and rough to watch every time it happens. You then run replay and look and everyone is covered, ok, then either throw the ball away or scramble.

QB's just sit there.

I've actually seen them throw it away, but only in MUT, never on SIM. I think the threshold to throw it away is 75 awareness, so if a QB has sub 75 then they aren't going to throw it away. Maybe that threshold has changed since last year with the new ratings spread, but it wouldn't surprise me if it hadn't.

I tested it with Rodgers and Brady and they still sit there taking sacks.

I’ve seen a few throw aways by the CPU. When I played the Saints Brees sidestepped the rush and threw it away. This was a franchise game.

They throw it away more often from inside the pocket than outside.

I haven’t seen much of it, I’m sure there’s a trait someone will figure out where it will make them throw it away more often

I literally just seen 2 throw aways in one game yesterday by the CPU. I have seen it in play now and franchise.
