Most Intriguing Franchise in Show 20?

My go to AL East team is always Baltimore but with Toronto's infield of Vlad Jr. at third and Biggio at second with Bichette waiting in the wings at short, they will be awful hard to pass up in 20 for the O's. What team in the coming season has you thinking of making a team switch?

(if any. absolutely nothing wrong with being a loyal diehard lol)

Depending on the roster being used I'd say Toronto is a good one. Baltimore, SF, KC, Seattle, Miami are all good choices if you're looking to rebuild.

Tampa Bay and Texas are intriguing as well. Texas has a new stadium and uniforms for 20.

Padres with all the young talent and no pitching.

The White Sox with all the off season moves they've made would be a good one.

A ton of possibilities man.

If I jump into Franchise this upcoming year, it'd be with my Tribe.

Hoping for some solid groundwork to start being implemented in The Show 20, so that by first release on next-gen consoles, we'll see notable franchise improvements. This will drive me into really investing heavily into this mode.

IF I get 20, I'd carryover my year 3 Indians and also start a Braves chise.

Franchise SIM is dead. Find your favorite iterations and play it forever. Card games are whats "now" and games will cater in that direction and forget realism.

Just have fun and play :)

Re: Most Intriguing Franchise in Show 20?

hopefully John Means gets a really good rating boost, maybe that alone will be enough to counter what Toronto has to offer... lol I can't even seriously finish that thought. I need to check Means out in the last 19 update, get some idea where he's headed going into 20. Is an 80+ Overall too much to hope for with Means? EDIT: Means is sitting on 75, don't see him moving past that come March.

I'll be doing one with the Rangers.

New uniforms, new stadium, new Corey Kluber.

its scary to think how tough the Rangers top 3 starters in their rotation will be in 20. yeah, they will be a little long-toothed and might not hold up beyond the season but with Kluber Lynn & Minor its the kind of rotation you need if you can make it into the post-season. Texas Rangers, pitching excellence leading the pack. This is the pitching Ivan Rodriguez, Juan Gonzalez and the rest of the 90's era Rangers deserved. Maybe.

Re: Most Intriguing Franchise in Show 20?

I'm a rebuild Franchise guy. I didn't buy 19 but will get 20 and I'm starting an 18 franchise (updated rosters) with Seattle. They have a few young guys but enough older talent to use as trade bait for a rebuild. I've been off for a while so my Tigers and O's rebuilds will have to wait until 20. I think the Tigers are the most intriguing since they are big market enough to realistically sign free agents but have the worst roster in the game save maybe KC.
