It happened to me as well. I had a hard time trying to focus on the ball as I was watching Mr. Glove whip the ball out.

That’s on purpose. Many hitters like the ball to come in with as little spin as possible. More than a knuckleball, but less than a normal four seam.

The glove-toss keeps the spin down, but allows just enough rotation to stay on plane.
