Cant get realistic scores/pace

I’m having games with both teams getting around 70-75 FGA’s and about 10-15 FTA’s with the foul slider cranked all the way up. So my scores are usually in the low to mid 80s. I’ve tweaked with the game speed slider but anything above 70 feels insanely fast to me.

Any suggestions?

Do you take any early shots (non-fast break) or run plays everytime up the court? Do you typically take a lot of time looking for open shots?

I take fast break opportunities when they happen. I’m definitely not deliberately stalling.

Go into roster editor and max out everyone's draw foul rating or tendency. This should push the free throws way up. When you use 70 game speed you need to lower the movement sliders to balance out with the game speed. You want faster animations not faster running speed.

Wow I've never heard of 12 minute quarters being scored in the 80s. Sounds like NBA Jam or something haha.

I believe that game speed affects the clock speed too (ie, it’s the speed of the entire game experience), so that wouldnt change anything for you. Maybe try using a lower game speed (I play 45) and use the movement sliders (+ the speed, accel, lateral quickness & hustle attribute sliders) to get the player movement/speed how you like it
