MLB21 RTTS Mode Gutted by SDS

I almost don't know where to begin. While I am trying to understand SDS scrapping RTTS as a separate mode, I am really finding it hard.

They have taken all the fun out of it. Limited to one player, a horrendous first intro that throws you into "the draft", makes you a two-way player and essentially blows up the stats and advancement meta.

Man, if I could get a refund I would, but, hey SDS, you got me for $90, just don't expect me to be happy and playing your modes that you decided to shove down my throat. I typically ran anywhere from 3-6 RTTS players at one time. Despite the warts here and there and the annoying archetypes, it was FUN.

Now I know why I was suspicious when absolutely NO DETAILS on RTTS were in the Thursday previews. I really like some of the improvements in the game, honestly. But I spend 90% of my time in RTTS and this is a kick to the groin as far as I am concerned.

Really disappointed. Thanks for gutting my favorite mode Sony...

You can still have multiple rtts players my guy, press square when highlighting runs and you can start new or load a save

But you can't make different players, you're limited to your one ballplayer playing different positions on different saves

Exactly, we are now forced to just 1 player. In previous years we could have fun and make different players for different saves which is now impossible

Not to mention, as far as I can tell, stats are going to be capped at 50 as far as how high you can take them by playing and training.

The rest of your stats will go up with equipment and by your archetypes.

So no more 5 tool players on RttS....

They basically went the NBA2k way...ALL because of ****ing Diamond Dynasty....

RttS is the only damn mode I play, why SDS did you have to mess with it!!!!!!!!!!

Oh and to add to the frustration, the GRIND IS REAL....

Halfway through my first minor league season my OVR has went up ONE POINT!

And for whatever reason, I only play 2 out of every 3 games....I dont even qualify for league leaders.

And I am putting up huge stats, so that isnt the issue....batting .356.

Maybe it is my 50 ovr durability that is near impossible to raise?

I am supposed to be the next big thing in baseball, shouldnt I be playing every day?

From the sound of it, they basically killed the mode.

Next is franchise mode.

Then eventually, they will remove gameplay and focus entirely on the card collecting game with new super flashy pack opening animations.
Finally, they will remove that as well and will just take your credit card.

Joking aside, if they could get away with it they would do it.
