this is a great game....the best tennis game i've ever played bar none. Yes the animations do look stiff sometimes, but the gameplay is unrivaled.

CPU make realistic mistakes, users do too. Most games have about the same winners as unforced errors, just like the real thing. Ratings really matter and the "consistency" rating will make games varied. Some games, the cpu serve is on making him a tougher opponent. The next game, the same cpu opponent's serve is off, making him an easier guy to beat.

If they improve the animations, most people won't give top spin a look.

The animation system is currently being overhauled by the developer who said it'll most likely be released by some time next year.

subpar graphics, good ball physics, good control scheme, subpar animations, ok-good online experience. It's an indie game with one developer, you get what you pay for really.

most of what you said i.agree with, but the gameplay is great. The games have tension, the flow is lifelike, and real tennis strategies work. That's why I would have paid 60$ for.this game easily.

Thr depth of the gameplay and tennis strategy are very deep.

To hit the ball hard you need to hit at the highest point of the ball bounce and set up at the right place. if youre early or late and at the wrong place, you will hit errors, margin for error for the low consistency guys are quite smaller

on the defensive? use a slice to gain more time.

Make a great wide serve? anticipate early, rush the net and execute an easy volley

using angles also is a strategy especially with high spin guys like nadal.

I played against a hard hitter with low consistency, if i tried to outstrike, i would lose. best chance was.to play safe defensive tennis and i won more against this opppnent.

The game is very deep in terms of raw gameplay.

And serving, nothing better than getting an ace....

Oh btw, should've mentioned that the ball actually curves in the air. It's not perfect but at least it's in there and can easily improve if tweaked a bit. Also this game has a challenge system which is very balanced imo.
