So The Rock has returned to wrestling or just wrestlemania?

My interest in wrestling pretty much lived and died with The Rock.

I was laughing at the missed bleeps throughout his rant.....

You can tell the WWE censoring crew weren't used to the edgy comments!

As far as Rock joining Nexus being more shocking than Hogan, I guess I thought wrong, judging by most responses here. I just figured Rock is more popular now than ever before, because of his absence. And to see him get cheered loudly and play to the crowd, then to turn heel, would be shocking.

Guess not.....

what's silly though is that it wasn't like The Rock was saying new things that they wouldn't know it was going to lead into a curseword. That's kinda what made this promo good, it was like a old school trip down Jabroni Drive. Very similar to how Hogan vs. Rock had all the classic moves just for nonstalgia purposes. This promo had it all. People used to hate that about Rock's segments back in the day, but it worked so well last night...

It's tough to tell guys to go out there and do it that way a lot of the time though. Need a special type of talent in most cases.
Well, if WWE would actually use their developmental territory to get guys used to doing things like this, it perhaps wouldn't be as awkward.

I think when JR was running the talent and Cornette was down in OVW, this was a big focus of theirs and that's why guys like Cena were able to come in and hold their own on the stick, because they actually worked on promos in developmental.

What we are seeing in a lot of cases now (Nexus, aside from Barrett) is that guys are being called up too soon without developing all of their skills and they are having to learn on the fly, and that in turn is what makes a lot of these guys so awkward either on the mic or in the ring. They just aren't ready yet, but since WWE doesn't have a lot of depth, they are pushed into spots and asked to deliver things they likely can't.

From what I've read, Triple H wants to re-work the developmental system in WWE, so hopefully things like getting young guys more seasoning will be a focus going forward.

From what I read somewhere after the first bleep that USA told them it was fine to go without them.

I'm pretty sure he won't be involved in a wrestling match at WM, but if he was to get involved in Cena's match that could possibly set up a great match at their 2nd biggest PPV Summerslam down the line.

Rapping Cena was awesome imo, was usually guranteed a few laughs every show and it wasn't a bland as he is now.

HOLY ****.

I had no idea what happened until I was just browsing in this thread out of boredom. I haven't watched a full episode of Monday Night Raw in probably 8 years, but I'll be 100% ordering the Wrestlemania!!!!

Can't believe The Rock is back, even if only temporarily. Marked out like an 8 year old kid watching that video.
