Re: Ring of Honor Thread

I just recently started watching old matches of ROH,PWG&CZW due to looking for talent for WWE 13. I'd half to say they put far better shows than the WWE.

Unfornatly I can't watch the Sunday show since I don't have station that carries it. Is there any classic matches u guyz can think of with current ROH or ROH stars that aren't in the WWE I should watch?

THX

I did the same last year for WWE 12 and now am an actual fan of ROH. Great wrestling, good storylines, and in a way it's a good way to scout possible future WWE stars (many ROH stars go to WWE. El Generico, Daniel Bryan, Chris Hero, Seth Rollins and Antonio Cesaro are some examples.) I watch ROH online because I don't have the television station.

Some guys not in WWE: Kevin Steen, The Briscoes, Davey Richards, Mike Bennett, Michael Elgin, among others.

Re: Ring of Honor Thread

Interested in the recent announcement of NJPW regulars who look to be having tours with ROH this summer. Karl Anderson and The Forever Hooligans (Rocky Romero and Alex Koslov) kind of make me want to try and watch some more ROH. Would have been awesome if they could have gotten Prince Devitt but he's probably a bit too central to New Japans booking right now to come over.

Re: Ring of Honor Thread

Whitmer was injured in his match last night.

Quote:
BJ was able to give the crowd a thumbs up, but not before the match was abruptly stopped, he was treated by EMTs (including former ROH champ Davey Richards, himself a trained paramedic), stretchered from the arena and taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital.

Tests and X-Rays reportedly show nothing broken, with speculation ranging from it being a stinger (similar to those experienced by WWE's Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton in recent weeks) to a PWInsider.com report of a herniated disc. He is reportedly in some pain, but has a full range of motion and, while still hospitalized, was able to get out of bed on his own this morning.

Glad he's ok. Eerily similar to what happened to Stone Cold against Owen Hart...

Re: Ring of Honor Thread

ROH is my favorite promotion right now but to do that spot was a dumb move knowing the risk with it, I'm not sure if Whitmer has any history of neck issues but if he does it makes that spot even more foolish, good thing Whitmer is OK though

Does ROH have some sort of talent exchange in place with new Japan

I have no idea if Styles or the other guy is to blame for this, but holy ****.
