Dolph has signed a new long-term contract. He was about to leave the company right after Royal Rumble but I guess in the last week WWE offered him a huge deal with a bunch of perks. He can leave the show after they are done with him, he can work outside WWE as well.

This was a video btw. They also said he is content being a mid carder and likes putting guys over.

Personally I'm happy he's staying. I know a lot of people don't care much for him anymore, but I'm happy.

Regarding PPVs, either they're going to make these cards bloated (3+ hr shows) or there's going to be a LOT of talent left to wither on the vine while the cards themselves are going to be so top loaded with championship matches that people aren't going to care. This is a recipe for burning people out ASAP.

The only other thing I can think of is that PPVs will have a tiered structure whereby some are definitely "A" shows and others are in the "B" show category where it'll be mostly midcard and undercard guys with one main event level match as an anchor and drawing card to said show.

There must be a mistake. I was told back at Survivor Series that that PPV was the only time Smackdown and Raw would go head to head. There better be no promotion vs promotion matches.

Once again, WWE just can't help themselves. There's no need for this. If it was done another way, say reducing the number of events from 14-16 to 6-8, then sure, make them big shows and have guys and girls from both rosters on them.

Imo this is by far the absolute worst time period for the WWE since the early 90s. I’ve been a major defender before but even I can’t sit through an entire 2 hour Smackdown at this point. It’s horrible.

I just needed to vent.

Smackdown is unwatchable to me as well but there are some good things on RAW at least. Not enough for me to sit through 3 hrs (and btw can they STOP going to commercials during most of the matches? Sheesh!) but there are still things worth seeing like Bayley, Sasha Banks, The Miz and Cena. (sometimes) I would also mention the Revival but they're being jobbed out or stuck in stupid 50/50 booking.
