That's a weird choice, I don't remember them crossing paths until his run last year. I don't really know who else I'd pick though, maybe DDP since he gave him the best match of his career

Yeah, it's really hard to find anyone that could reasonably induct him unless you want to go with Bischoff though I don't know what their relationship is like these days.

Not saying Heyman or DDP aren't big names but I thought they would have went with Sting.

Heyman's inducting him because WWE wants people thinking that his matches with Brock last year were what really put him in the HoF, on the same level as everything he did before. Like he was a borderline HoFer before that. It's all about putting over the modern WWE product, really.
