No word on the extent of the injury as we are days away from Extreme Rules. Guess we'll find out tonight on SD Live the extent and how bad it is. If he is injured then the best course of action is have Joe win Sunday and let Kofi take time off to heal rather him win and keep the title then have to relinquish it later on.
I've been predicting Lesnar winning the title at extreme rules anyways, so perhaps this makes wwe more likely to go through with it.

Beat Kofi at ER, maybe goes up against Joe at SS, not show up in September and return in time for the debut on Fox. Knowing wwe, he'd start another feud with Reigns.

He can't take off September as every title is defended at the Clash of Champions PPV. They will keep teasing it, Big E/Xaiver will prevent Brock or Roman will save Rollins to tease another feud as you alluded to. Then at Clash of Champions, Kofi will defend the title against whoever and after the match he'll cash in and we won't see him until the first episode on FOX.

Re: WWE Off-Topic

WWE is returning to Madison Square Garden for RAW & SD Live tapings for the first time in a decade September 9th & 10th.

Edit: Those would be the Go Home shows before Clash of Champions on Sunday Sept 15th. I'd figure they run those shows closer to Charlotte so it wasn't much of a drive from NY to Charlotte for Clash of Champions.

Re: WWE Off-Topic

I remember hearing that during that schedule leak a few months back.

It's about time wwe returns to MSG. Their msg shows always had the better written shows.

The last raw they had at msg is still one of my fave Raws to this date. They went all out for that show. Cena/Taker vs DX vs Jerishow, Kofi Kingston with the boom drop on Orton through a table, McMahon and Piper segment, it was so good.

You've predicted it for every Smackdown event before they move to Fox.

Hey man, you tried to hype it up and overdid it. It's okay, we all whiff sometimes.

AE popularity was weird. They were popular but shunned at same time. Those who liked it really liked it, but those who didn't hated it with a passion and hated everything about it.

I'm watching the Raws in late 99 and Foleys book is NY Times best seller. But JR mentions how the reviewers don't want to acknowledge something like that because "it's some book by a wrestler.".

Re: WWE Off-Topic

So where's Bray Wyatt? Please don't tell me this whole thing is gonna fall into creative has nothing for him. I mean WTF man? All the Firefly Funhouse's, the puppets popping up on Raw and Smackdown for a week. Then nothing for what? 2-3 weeks?

This is dangerously approaching out of sight out of mind territory. It would be just like WWE to ruin him again.

Saw the pig puppet backstage last night on Raw, but I can't remember which "guy walking to the ring" segment it was.

It's dumb of them to drag the backstage thing out longer than week, I think. Should've filmed another couple promos if they planned on holding off the return, or worst-case just throw together some promos from B-roll footage.
