Use it as a stepping stone to put Lesnar on an even higher level, a level nobody has really ever been pushed to save for maybe Hogan, but that was a different time.
Possibly. But I don't see Lesnar holding the title for that long, especially if the plan is for him to drop it at WM as some are already guessing.

Re: WWE Off-Topic

The thing is, the Undertaker wanted Brock to break the streak during his first run in the WWE. Unfortunately/FortunateLy, however you want to look at it, Brock left and the streak was held together.

I believe Taker believed that Brock was going to be the biggest superstar ever.

I'm just glad the streak is over. There are other guys I'd have rather seen end it, but I'd rather have Brock end it than have it not be ended

If there's anyone who can handle the heat from it it's Paul E and Brock. I was okay with it, 5 minutes after the match.

Re: WWE Off-Topic

I was always ok with the streak ending just because it was shocking. I mean it was probably the most shocking thing they've done on a PPV in quite some time.

I would have preferred someone else then Lesnar, but eh whatever.

Re: WWE Off-Topic

I figure no matter what people would have complained. I thought if Punk did it at 29 it would have been huge for him. I think Edge or Orton as well back in the day. But Brock is a legit beast. And Undertaker was cool with it.

No, not weird at all. I was one of the very few that said before WM 30 that Lesnar should win the match and end the streak, so obviously I was happy with the result, albeit still very shocked that it did happen.

It also helps that Paul Heyman has been there to elevate the importance of Brock winning by mentioning it each week on TV. Brock now takes over Taker's spot as the most dangerous threat in WWE; you know when he shows up that **** is about to get real.

Lesnar won't crush Cena at SS although him winning in a 5-minute beat down (causing Cena to be out for several months) would be glorious. With Bryan out and Punk gone, no way Cena is going off TV now.

Re: WWE Off-Topic

I watched the WrestleMania 30 special before the Hall of Fame game. My thoughts:

I still think Wyatt should have beaten Cena.

I'm ok with Lesnar beating the streak. I was shocked at the time, but it was a good Wrestlemania moment. It gives a ton of credibility to Lesnar going forward.

I can't believe they totally cut Daniel Bryan out of this special; his name was never mentioned (from what I saw) his opening match with Triple H was cut out, and the WWE Championship match was cut out/not on the show. Daniel Bryan was Wrestlemania 30; he was the focus of the buildup, and he just was the show. The fact that WWE gave him the Chris Benoit treatment on this special is just wrong to me.
